It's been a while since i have posted on my blog. Call it lame, call it lazy, or just to busy. Whatever the cause it is no excuse. I look on peoples blogs all the time and they are posting things all the time. When I started this blog I told myself I was going to be the same way... wrong. Recently the other night, I and one of my good friends decided we would update. I posted pictures, we went on her blog and posted... We are both slackers, sorry Tawhnye, but we are and we will get better.
This last year we have had some trying times. I lost a brother last July, a niece in November and a truely great friend in a bad fire in April. You can not turn back time, all we have our memories. Memories that are so bad sometimes that it hurts. Why things happen like they do, we don't know. I recently went to a bridal shower and my cousin said to me "why don't you have anything new on your blog. They live in Logan and I realize now that is really the only way you keep in touch with family. July 20th 2009 was the 1 year anniversary of my brother passing away, we went up the canyon where we spread his ashes, my dad mad a headstone with his name and we just sat around and talk about things that had gone in this camp ground growing up as children. MEMORIES!!!! you can't take them away. I will miss my friend, I will my niece, I will really miss my brother. I wrote on my friends blog this same thing I am about to write on mine, not quite in the same words but means the same.
Some times in life, you stop to think about things... We grow up, we grow old, we lose friends, and we gain more. True friends stay with you all your life... What we gain from them keeps us strong. We will never know why the people have came into our lives is for a purpose.
They stop on our door steps, they drive down our streets. You see them in your dreams and you hope they never leave. I wrote this on my friends blog a couple of days of ago.
A year ago July 20th 2008, I lost someone close to my heart. My BROTHER, my FRIEND, Wade, but I gained some friends close to his heart. I don't know what I would ever do without them. They have helped Dan and I threw the last year. Without them, and they know who they are, I don't know what we would have ever done. I lost a brother but gained a sister and brother. Someone whom I will be so ever greatful for. I hope I never loose the special friends, the person who went away, sent to me. Wade always said to her, "that's where my sister lives." And her promise to me is to never ever forget. Luv ya till the end Thelma!!!!
